Too Good To Go
I am a fan of Too Good To Go and other services which allow a user to purchase unwanted food cheaply – a great marriage of tech to balance supply and demand. Discounts are genuine, and many well-known chains partake, meaning that if you are flexible you can dine out at a fraction of the cost.
One of the downsides is that there are few reviews of what you actually get. This is understandable to a certain extent, as it may be the case that you have little choice in what you get: you get what the store cannot use. So very good experiences may raise expectations too high, and very poor ones might see users avoid that store.
I offer my experiences here as a broad guide – yours may vary.
